Trail Overview
This trail runs between the AZPT Havasu to Oatman Bypass Easy and the AZPT Segment Lake Havasu to Kingman Trail. A wooden sign can be spotted along the route, labeling it Wheeler Wagon. No specific history could be found about the trail, but there is quite a bit of mining and railroad history in the area, so this could be a historic wagon trail. This is generally a nice twisty dirt trail. It has many bumpy rocks just far enough apart to make the going a little slower. Small boulders are in the trail to drive over or navigate around. A section of the trail runs along a ridgeline with a wash and canyon below. The trail is far enough away from the edge. The views of the mountains from this trail are beautiful. They can be seen in all directions. No dispersed campsites are noted along the trail itself. A spur trail off the east end goes to some nice dispersed campsites. 5G cell service is along the trail. This area can also get extremely hot in the summer months. Bring extra water and supplies if traveling during the summer.
