Trail Overview

Windmill CrossPlay is a one-lane dirt trail with no obstacles on it. The trail is an interesting one, with its primary use seeming to be for hunters to access the area. Indeed, there are campsites scattered, with primitive fire rings. As always, please check the local forest service website for fire regulations as this area is prone to large and uncontrollable wildfires. There are a couple of interesting views along this trail that bring to reality the vastness of this particular area of Northern Arizona and its beautiful landscape.

Difficulty

This is an unmaintained one-lane dirt trail that may become challenging with use or with a major monsoon event. The trail is one lane, and while there is plenty of room off-trail, please stay on established paths and remember to TREAD LIGHTLY.
