Trail Overview
Posey Hollow 76 is a road that parallels the Ouachita National Recreation Trail. The road is an easy gravel windy road that climbs to an elevation of around 1900 feet. I even found one of my favorite camping spots in the ONF along this route. There is a beautiful creek next to a beautiful campsite. There has been a controlled burn in the area this year so there are lots of burned areas but it doesn't take away the beauty of this area. Campsites are dispersed with no restrooms or potable water. ONRT hiking trails are clearly marked along the road. Creek crossings could overflow during heavy rainfall or after a storm.
