Trail Overview
Chloride Cliffs Road starts off of Daylight Pass Road in Death Valley National Park and climbs over one-thousand feet up onto the Chloride Cliffs before descending again towards the CA/NV border. It changes its name to BLM 927230 at the state border and edge of the park and continues West to NV-95 near Beatty, NV. This rock road follows a smooth wash before climbing onto a rougher rock ridge as it meanders toward Chloride City. In addition to the historic mining site, the Chloride Cliffs have numerous dispersed camp spots with fantastic views out over Death Valley. Be snake aware and keep an eye out for the Panamint Rattlesnake that is common here. There is a strong Verizon signal on the Chloride Cliffs.
