Trail Overview
Great trail for day rides, exploring many side routes, and camping in the Tarryall Reservoir trail network. One possibly difficult section near the junction of Schoolmarm Mountain, Skinny, and Packer Gulch requiring 4wd and high ground clearance. Trail passes through many open fields with wild flowers in the summer, pine forests, and aspens to see when the fall leaves are changing. Dispersed camping areas accessible to a trailer camper can be found at the junction of Schoolmarm Mountain and Turner Gulch Rd. Do not plan on taking trailers down this trail towards Packer Gulch due to some tight switch backs and high clearance areas.
