Trail Overview
This trail is a dispersed campers' dream. The trail is a loop and has large dispersed sites at either end that can accommodate trailers. The middle section of the trial is narrower and would require pullouts in areas to pass. The trail runs just above Cape Horn Creek, and there are plenty of nice dispersed campsites in the trees with creek access. This trail is just off Highway 21, the highway can not be seen from the trail, but in some areas, one may be able to hear it. It's a lovely area if you're looking for a quick day-use spot or camping with quick, easy access to the highway. The town of Stanley is only 30 minutes, and there are lots of hiking trails and 4x4 trails in the area. No winter maintenance. No T-Mobile cell service.
