Trail Overview
The Morgan Lake Trail is a very steep, rocky, and rutted trail with many exposed roots. This trail should only be attempted by experts. Although it's only .4 miles long, it features significant elevation loss over a short distance to the lake, dropping almost 500 feet in elevation, making it a strenuous ride down, and an even more difficult climb back up. The trail ends at a small campsite with a view of the lake. Despite its short length, the trail provides an exciting descent and a highly technical uphill back out, and a great view, so it's a great challenge for advanced riders.
