Trail Overview
This trail traverses through terrain with high open meadows and stands of mixed conifers. The northwest lobe of this trail that departs from Pass Lake is characterized by good tread of compacted native soil. The southeast lobe of the trail is much rougher with more rocks, but it is still an easy ride.

Difficulty
On top of the divide, the terrain is gentler and there are fewer steep grades. Even so, there is the occasional rocky stretch, ruts and washouts that must carefully be negotiated.
