Trail Overview
This lightly traveled two-track trail cuts through fields of sagebrush. In the Springtime and even into early summer, wildflowers dot the sides of the trial. The route is sandy, with little cactus scattered here and there. Occasionally there's a firm rocky section, but they don't last for long. The further south one travels on this trail, the deeper the sand becomes. There's a nice open area to camp in near the southern end of the route with sagebrush as far as you can see. A view of the St.Anthony Sand Dunes is over a hill to the north. One bar of Verizon LTE fades in and out

Difficulty
This trail earns a 4 for the deep sand that is most of the trail. There is almost nowhere to pass oncoming vehicles. The trail is so narrow in parts to cause paint damage.
