Trail Overview
Combs Road used to be a high-clearance vehicle trail in the Hoosier National Forest. Many years ago, the National Forest Service closed down this trail due to poor stewardship by the community and washouts/damage. This short northern section remains open to all and is a well-maintained gravel track with several creek crossings and several hiking destinations, including Browning Mountain, Nebo Ridge, and the Old Covered Bridge.
