Happy Top

Trail had some good ruts and creek crossings driving towards the trail head. Disappointed that the gate was closed.

This trail was awesome! We started from the South end going North. It started out as a nice easy very woodsy gravel road then turned to dirt then got a little technical. You come across some off camber, rutted hills before getting into a really off camber, lifting a rear tire off the ground hill. It’s not super sketchy but a lesser skilled person could definitely run into some trouble if not guided properly. This is absolutely a trail where tire placement over rutts is pivotal.

Big rut has gotten bigger, multiple other fairly deep ruts, smallest Jeeps were on 31s and did it fine, including a V8 ZJ.

Started at hwy 89 and happy top rd. Much more technical going from this side. Fun long hill climb. Cleared a couple of fallen trees off the trail.
