Trail Overview
45 miles long, the Deadwater Loop trail will take you along the Kennebec river, through valleys, and over hills for the townships of Solon, Moscow, Deadwater, and Bingham Maine. The trailnsystem is well maintained by the Moose Alley Riders ATV club. The trails are mostly gravel-topped rail beds and logging roads. You will encounter steep elevations, loose rocks, and tree roots.Parking is available at the Solon Dam park & ride and accessed via falls rd off of route 201. Parking and fuel is also available at Griswalds Country Store off of route 201.Cell service is available. Tread lightly by following club postings. Points of interest: Kennebec River, Bingham Wind Farm, Moscow Air Force Base.Town amenities available nearby.

History
The Kennebec River was famous for its log drives, but now is a recreational paradise with fishing, canoeing, kayaking and white water rafting.
