Trail Overview
This is a fairly flat, easy, and scenic route that provides an alternative to accessing Scraggly lake via an "out and back" option. In the fall the colors are stunning and camping is available on the lake. The route travels through private land as well as Maine Public Reserved Lands. Outside of the public land please be sure to yield the right of way to log trucks and other commercial vehicles. Huber Road does continue beyond the turn, providing access to other parts of the forest, but it is gated and does not connect to other major forest service roads.

Difficulty
This route is about 60% wide flat road that would allow two vehicles to pass each other easily. The rest is easy but only provides a single lane for both directions of travel.
