Trail Overview
36th Street is a sandy trail through Allegan State Game Area. This trail travels north and south through a 7,405-acre piece of state land. Along the route, you will come across various sandy washes that can be fairly deep. There are also multiple turn-offs that could be used for parking to access the land for hunting or hiking. The south end of the trail is accessed off of 128th Avenue and it's a well-graded two-lane dirt road. You will come to a four-way intersection where 130th Avenue intersects. If you continue north, this is where the trail becomes very sandy and you will encounter some moderate up and downhill grades. The deep sandy area will be about a mile and a half. On the north end of the route, it turns back into a well-graded two-lane dirt road. Please be mindful and courteous as there are private landowners that live off this trail on the north side.

Difficulty
Most of this trail is only a 1 difficulty level, but some of the deeper sand my pose an issue for a non-4WD vehicle.
