Trail Overview
Bewilder Trail is an easy offroad trail located at the northern border of Wexford County. This trail can be a little confusing since there are a few spur trails off of it, but if you start at the northern portion of Barrett Road Trail, stay to the right at the beginning of the trail to run it in its entirety. The trail starts with a small bump and lots of grass and sand. You'll weave your way down and through a dense portion of the forest that doesn't see a lot of traffic. Thus, the trail has some overgrowth. Keep this in mind. The trail does open up a bit later to a gorgeous view of the surrounding trees. This track finishes at the intersection of Mosquito Marsh Trail. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes and washouts. Regardless of the conditions, this is a wonderful trail!
