Trail Overview
The Big O is one of Michigan's lower peninsula single-track gems. This section of trail sports 39 miles of the best Michigan has to offer. To ride this section of trail, your bike must be road-legal to complete the full section. There are a few short road sections throughout. Generally, this trail is made up of 24-inch single track with a primarily sand base. That being said, this trail remains in good condition most of the time because the licensing requirements keep it a little less traveled than the other ORV standard trails in the area. This single track is generally a little tighter than most, but not to the point that it becomes a significant challenge. If you need gas, the Ruby Creek Gas station always has rec fuel in its pump, as well as a great selection of snacks to choose from.
