County Line Road

Trail Overview

This trail begins on a standard dirt road with great views of the windmills and farm fields. The elevation lowers as you approach the entrance to the seasonal road, where you will enter a thick wooded area. This trail features a few obstacles and has plenty of wildlife/plant life to see. You will likely see white-tail deer and wild turkeys as well as wildflowers.

Difficulty

This trail is partly used by local farmers to enter and exit fields, so be on the lookout for mixed traffic. There are rocks, sand, mud, ruts and steep inclines that FWD/2WDs may struggle with if you stop or lose momentum. Added difficulty can stem from the weather, as heavy rain or snow can make it very muddy in spots. Long dry spells can also cause it to become sandy in spots.
