Trail Overview
County Ridge Trail is a fun offroad trail that crosses over from Grand Traverse County into Wexford County. The trail starting from the north drops in elevation along a ridgeline and finishes with sweeping views of the area. Most of the trail consists of sand and dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes and washouts. The trail runs through a section of forest that has been logged, so please use caution. Regardless of the conditions, this is an exceptional trail!
