Trail Overview
This trail is located within Manistee National Forest and is a mix of sandy and muddy terrain. From sandy to slick mud and mud holes on this trail, the terrain is constantly changing. It is likely that you will be able to get a cell signal for the majority of the trail. It is possible to find a few dispersed camping spots, but they are very close to the trail, so be mindful of group size if you plan to camp off this trail. As the leaves start to change color, there is a beautiful section of this trail that passes through a tunnel of trees that will look awesome.
