Trail Overview
FS 4418 also known as National City Road is a single-lane dirt/sand mix. The trail is part of the Huron National Forest and can be run in either direction. The trail ran through a marshy area with some wildlife and even ran across some ant hills. The trail was mostly made up of pines and hardwood. Remember to stay on the trails and follow the tread lightly principles.

History
Oscoda is the eastern gateway to northern Michigan's ATV and snowmobile trail system linking you to all points north. Numerous trailheads and access points offer plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the trails. Our ATV & snowmobile trails connect to an expansive trail network beginning right into the heart of Downtown Oscoda. During the warm weather months, you can ride throughout the Huron National Forest and beyond. It doesn't stop during the winter either, the network of snowmobile trails connects you west to Houghton Lake and Traverse City, and north to the Bridge.
