Trail Overview
NFS 6014/6015 Loop is a fun offroad trail located just a couple miles off M-37 near Bitely. The trail can be run in either direction and is found directly off West 14 Mile Road, making this track easily accessible. The trail is a combination of sand, dirt, and grass, and weaves through a serene section of the Manistee National Forest. There is a lot of overgrowth on this trail, as it's not trafficked very often. Despite this, you'll surely find an abundance of beautiful flowers and plants right alongside this trail. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a beautiful trail! Lastly, there are spur trails off this route that lead to private property. Please be respectful of the local landowners and the public lands that we get to use.
