Trail Overview
NFS 7515 is a beautiful bidirectional off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. The trail starts out from a gravel county road next to some farmland. It begins with the entrance as a narrow landscape of trees with several early mud holes. Some have bypasses, but not all. Use caution when attempting to make it through! Come prepared! As you continue down the trail, the wooded sections open up as a tunnel of towering trees overhead heading west to east. About 3/4 of the way through the trail, you'll reach a very washed-out off-camber section. It's not difficult, but a high-clearance 4x4 is required to make it through this section. Use good judgment here and you'll make it through with no problems. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Be sure to enjoy the wonderful landscape this trail offers. This is a phenomenal trail!

Difficulty
The Technical Rating and Difficulty is listed as a 4 due to the off-camber sections in the washouts along this trail as well as the deep mud holes. This trail is also only wide enough for one vehicle with limited places to pass. Beyond these sections, this is an easy two-track trail with a lot of beautiful scenery in this National Forest.
