Trail Overview
NFS 7522/7523 is a bidirectional forestry off-road trail located within the incredible Manistee National Forest. You'll be greeted by towering red pine trees as you make your trek. Most of the trail consists of dirt, sand, and gravel. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, & mud holes. Regardless of the conditions, this is a very easy and scenic trail with other great trails nearby! Also, something to note, this trail is a seasonal trail with it being utilized in the winter for snowmobiles. Please be respectful of our public lands and TREAD LIGHTLY.
