Trail Overview
NFS 9180 is a fun off-road trail located within the Manistee National Forest. It starts off running alongside the Holton Loop Motorcycle Trail. Most of the trail consists of sand and dirt as you twist and turn up and down the two-track. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. The trail has a couple hilly sections that can get washed out and become more difficult. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. The trail ends at Unger Lake, but there are other nearby trails that spur from this route. Regardless of the conditions, this is a unique trail that is a lot of fun to wheel!
