Trail Overview
This trail is just one possible loop through the Huntersville Trail System; there are so many different sub-trails that it's hard to know which to take. These trails are all typically narrow with whoops and some roots. There are no major rocks or other obstacles. Compared to nearby singletrack Paul Bunyan and Spider Lake Trails, this trail system is generally narrower but has fewer obstacles, fewer inclines and declines, fewer rocks, and less water. There are, however, pretty consistent whoops. These whoops aren't uncomfortable, but they do typically need to be hit fast or the rider needs to stand or sit through the up-and-down roller coaster. The river and woods are very pretty with a nice variety of trees that make for awesome fall colors.
