Trail Overview
High Mountain Road is a trail on the upper southwest side of the park that can be run in either direction. The trail starts at the top of Brixey Hill and ends at the junction of Rocky Road and Buck Rub. Many trails connect to High Mountain Road as you wind your way through the tree-covered trail. There is a rock ledge obstacle towards the end that does have a bypass, otherwise the trail itself is mostly dirt with various mud puddles. It's suitable for intermediate or novice off-roaders, as the bypass for the obstacle is a bit off-camber. Depending on your spotter and/or confidence level, this bypass can be completed by a beginner.

Difficulty
Outside of the obstacle itself, the trail can be done by any driver with almost any full-width 4x4. The obstacle is about a 3-foot rock ledge that would require a high-clearance 4x4 with a minimum of 35-inch tires with lockers or no lockers and a minimum of 37-inch tires. The bypass for the obstacle is a bit off-camber and may not be suitable for a beginner depending on their spotter and confidence level.
