Trail Overview
This is an offshoot trail for Stocker Stomper and Appaloosa. If getting here from Appaloosa, it is a steep hill climb with a tight right-hand turn at the top. If you're not paying attention, you could hit a tree once at the top. If you are coming from Stocker Stomper, it is easier with a couple of smaller hills. The turn onto the hill down is not as tight from Stocker Stomper because you can see what is in front of you going down. Depending on recent rainfall, this trail can be very wet and slick. Water erosion is also a possibility over time. If going down the hill, you will drop onto Appaloosa and you can go either right or left from there. 4WD and low range are recommended. If the trail is wet, lockers may be needed to get up the hill from Appaloosa.
