Trail Overview

The Pine Union Spur A FSR 2137A in Mark Twain National Forest gives a sense of thrill and scenery all in one. It begins at a fork with the main FSR 2137, hanging left, you quickly notice that the hilltop it is laid upon holds water well, due to several water collection areas, but the base of the trail is mountain top rock and dirt. The trees tighten and widen as you traverse the trail deeper, going up and down the elevation changes of this hilltop. Expect small ledges, roots, mud, and loose course rock.
