Trail Overview
Ranch Road runs almost the length of the park from north to south. It is one of the main roads that not only gives you access to a bunch of other trails but also access down into the creekbeds, therefore it is highly traveled. Any vehicle can travel Ranch Road, even trucks with trailers to recover someone who has broken down. Up top towards the campgrounds and office, Ranch Road is extremely dusty and could have visibility issues. Ranch Road becomes a hill as you descend into the creekbeds and becomes a directional trail to avoid heavy erosion from heavy use on top of erosion from rainfall. Once down in the creek bed, travel by non-4WD vehicles is not recommended.
