Trail Overview
This is a nice connection trail between Highway 191 and the Whisky Bay trail. It is a broad, well-maintained dirt and gravel trail primarily through tall trees. It's longer but much smoother than the whisky bay trail. If you're looking to get to the second-day use area off the whisky bay trail but want to avoid more of the mud and potholes on the whisky bay trail, this is an excellent option to take. It's also a day-use area with some offshoot trails on it. Some are temporarily closed for tree thinning. In winter, this is a snowmobile trail. Two plus bars of LTE cell service.
