Trail Overview
The Middle Cottonwood Single Track starts on the west end at a small dirt parking lot on a well-maintained wide dirt path. There are many hikers on this trail, so please respect other users. It goes over a narrow wooden bridge and continues on an easy trail with some embedded rocks but mostly smooth dirt. There's another narrower wooden bridge over a bigger creek, which parallels the creek. The second half of the trail gets rockier, but most of the rocky sections are embedded in big rocks that are easy enough to ride over or around. There aren't any big ledges. Since the trail is so vast, you can ride around the more enormous embedded rocks and roots or pick your way through it. In some sections, you are forced to ride directly over them, but they are pretty flat and easy to ride over. There are several shallow stream crossings on the route as well. It ends at the start of the Bridger Mountain Trail. This trail is open 6/16 - 10/14, but between 6/16 and 9/5, the trail is closed to motorized use on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Difficulty
This is an easy single track because although there are several sections that are a bit rockier, the trail is wide, making the rocky sections more navigable. The first half from the trailhead is the easiest, and it gets rockier as you go east.
