Trail Overview
Dead Horse Road runs through The Nevada Desert National Wildlife Refuge, there is no camping on this road. The road itself is an easy yet bumpy road, loose sand, rocks, and gravel will toss you around, but the views of the desert are amazing. The road ends at a large wash that was caused due to a flood. This road should be avoided during rainy seasons as most of this road runs alongside even inside the wash and is prone to flash floods.
