Trail Overview

This is a 3-mile-long ATV trail in the Nelson OHV Area that starts right at the staging area and goes southeast through the desert. It's full of whoops, going up and over small desert hills, and through flat sections of desert full of bushes and some embedded rock sections. It has ravine crossings, fast sections, and gravel sections, and is overall a really easy trail. There are tons of cacti to watch your arms on, and the hardest part is going through all the whoops. The trail drops into a wash near the south end, then starts to go up more of a ridgeline up and over the small hills with tons of cactus. There are tons of intersections throughout the trail that you can take to explore other ATV and dirt bike trails.
