Trail Overview
This is a 4-mile-long ATV loop in the Glade Run Recreation Area. It mostly goes through washes, oilwell roads, and easy ridge lines. The washes are smooth and sandy, with lots of tracks to follow, but they do have lots of intersections and split lines, so make sure to keep looking out for the ATV signs. The wash is normally really wide, but sometimes narrows up with more trees sticking out over the trail. Other parts of the route go through the flat desert terrain on hardpacked dirt trail, sometimes covered in loose rocks, going up and over small hills on a ridge line. It also follows the oilwell roads for a portion of the loop, and they are rutted and washed out in spots. Watch out for foot-deep ruts on one side of the trail. There is one rock slab feature on the trail that is ramped and most riders can ride right up it and it shouldn't be difficult.
