Trail Overview
Bear Mountain Foothills is a very easily navigated trail that is primarily dirt and has no major obstacles and will be suitable for most vehicles including high clearance 2WD but does appear to be unmaintained. The trail is primarily single-vehicle wide with substantial room to pass if needed. Views are wide open through this area as it leads to the base of the Bear Mountains and has several spurs off the main track. There is a short section of private land with two gates that are to be closed after passing through them. Much of the road looks unused and is showing signs of brush overgrowth on the main track. The trail ends in a small secluded area that has plenty of room to turn around. Cell service is moderate throughout the route with only a couple of areas having no service.
