Trail Overview
This narrow two-track is an out-and-back that dead-ends at private property, more specifically, Frank's Ranch. The surface is a combination of rocks and dirt, with some rocks being around 8 inches in size, but no large obstacles. However, there are several steep grades along the trail, with some being more than 12%. Additionally, there are several low-lying washes with the potential to be water crossings over 10 inches. Much of the trail is single-vehicle-wide with no room to pass and only a few areas just wide enough to pull off for passing traffic. There are some slight rutting and off-camber sections where the surface is primarily dirt, with a combination of rocks and sand within the washes. There is no cell service along the entirety of the trail. Visitors will notice there are campsites along the route, however, dispersed camping is not permitted on the main trail or its spurs.
