Trail Overview
This bumpy out and backcrosses the long, dried grassy fields as it ascends into the hills. The entire time herds of Antelope were crossing the path ahead. Once at the top, it's clear to see why. There's a majestic spring bubbling its way down the side of the hill with some strange mossy-looking grass. It is a fantastic contrast to the dryness of the desert to come across such a lush oasis provided by the remote spring. A killer flat spot by the trees at the top would make for a great camp. There are two strong bars of Verizon LTE the whole way.
