Trail Overview

This 2.4-mile-long single track through the Black Hills starts right at the intersection of Bogus Jim Road (FS 202) and 642, across from a big meadow used for staging or dispersed camping. The trail goes southeast and ends on a dirt road, and can easily be connected to 6305 and other similarly easy single tracks in the area. The trail is relatively flat, with small hills and descents that are often covered in loose rock. It goes through a pine tree forest, with embedded rock, and tight corners. It's a pretty scenic forest, with the trees widely separated, so there's lots of sunshine and views, and cool giant boulders lining the trail.
