Trail Overview
845 is a short connector trail from the south end of the Orange Trail to connect to 843 and VJ trail. The trail is mostly road width, and curves around a few desert mesas in a dark red dirt desert landscape. The trail is easy with no obstacles, mostly smooth dirt, with some loose rock. There are short sections of single track that run parallel to the main wider trail, that go up and over some of the hills and connect on the corners of the main trail. The views are very scenic as you are nearby Temple Mountain and Goblin Valley, surrounded by red sandstone mesas. Use this trail to make a day loop in this trail system with 5 Miles of Hell, the Red and Orange Trails, and VJ trail. The trail ends in a sandy wash where motorcycle trail 843 starts.
