Trail Overview
Buffalo Canyon is a 2.5-mile-long single track in the Uinta National Forest open from 6/1 to 10/31. The west end starts at the top of a hill before it drops down the side of the hill full of sagebrush. It's an easy and narrow single track with some loose rock. It side-hills across a barren landscape at 8,400 feet. At this elevation, there is potential for the trail to still have snow drifts in late spring. It starts to side-hill above a creek, with narrow sections with a bit of exposure. Watch out for sudden ravine crossings. It's a fun and fast trail that is a good way to add on some extra mileage when already riding the Willow Creek Single Track.

Difficulty
This is an easy to moderate single track. The trail itself is really smooth and easy, but there are several exposed sections when the trail cross cambers across steep slopes of shale above the creek.
