Cave ATV Trail 31039 is a 2.2-mile dirt track rated 3 of 10 and located within the Dixie National Forest, Pine Valley Ranger District. This trail is restricted to vehicles less than 50 inches wide. This trail is a short meandering ride that passes by a cave. The trail has a technical rock outcropping to maneuver over, making for a challenging ride. The trail can be run in either direction and can be accessed by the Colie Flat (FR 30003) or Veyo Shoal Creek (FR 30006) trails. Trailer parking can be found at the Upper Enterprise Reservoir. This part of Washington County is rugged and remote. Visitors should plan carefully and be prepared for backcountry travel conditions. Don't expect cellphone reception in this area and the nearest services are located in Enterprise or Veyo.

Difficulty
The trail consists of loose rocks, dirt, and sand with some slick rock surfaces. Mud holes are possible, but there are no steps higher than 12 inches. 4WD may be required, and aggressive tires are a plus.
