Trail Overview
The Cliffside Camp trail starts on the north end as a wide, two-lane dirt track. It quickly narrows to a two-track with few areas to pass. Along this trail, you'll find ledges up to a foot tall and off-camber sections of slick rock. There are short, steep climbs as well as descents. While this trail might be intimidating for some, the campsite at the end is worth it, with the stunning views showing the splendor of this area of the Moab region. On the way down the trail, there might be some spots of erosion and washouts, so caution is urged. There is no cell coverage in this area, so offline maps are essential.
