Trail Overview
We discovered this trail out of necessity. We were riding in the Marysvale Face Trail area, using the Cottonwood Rd-Bullion Canyon Interconnect trail, and found that Pine Creek was flowing too heavily to cross in the early spring. We found an exit onto Hwy 89, which allowed us to get back into Marysvale. This track crosses some areas where spring runoff runs across the plateau, so it creates mud on the trail in some areas, but it's not a creek or a ditch. There are cattle grazing in this area, so watch for them. In the springtime, they have cows and calves out here. You go by two reservoirs, and the trail goes around the downhill side of both, so it tends to be a little muddy there, too. Close to Hwy 89 you go through a gate, and the trail goes along the property line between two privately owned pieces of land. Access is granted, so be sure to close any gate that's closed when you arrive, and respect the private property. There is an American flag on the corner where this track meets Hwy 89. If you're looking for an access point up to Marysvale Face or a way to get to Cottonwood Canyon without traveling on the pavement, this is a good option. In February of 2023, Utah began enforcement of a new law, which requires an online education course for all off-roaders. The free course is available online. Google "Utah OHV Education Course," and the free test will pop up. It's an easy test that will only take 15-30 minutes, and it's required for all off-roaders, Jeeps, SXSs, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Kids under the age of 18 will have to take the Youth Education Test at the same site. After completing the test, print out the certificate to carry with you which shows you completed the course. We have taken it, and it's really no big deal. Good reminders about trail etiquette and trail preservation.

Difficulty
Mud is really the only obstacle on this trail, and perhaps a cow or calf that's wandered into the trail.
