Trail Overview
This 5.3-mile 4x4 route starts on the west end of Crystal Geyser Road and is flat and easy, going through the grey desert terrain. It crosses both the Crystal Geyser and Guys Single Tracks and ends on Salt Wash North Road. This is a fun and scenic route that has a few easy/intermediate challenges. There are sections of rock ledges ranging from 6 inches tall to a bit over a foot tall. It goes through several washes, sometimes with harder climbs out of the wash. On the west half, there is an off-camber section on a really steep incline that would be a moderate challenge for a Jeep, but pretty easy for a UTV. Parts of the trail are pretty narrow with no space for vehicles to pass. The trail is pretty windy, with lots of curves to wind around the mesa, with small loose rocks. One of the hardest obstacles is on the section where the trail is concurrent with Guys Singletrack. It is a rock ledge over a foot tall on a shelfy section of road. This road is fun to explore and acts as a bailout for the single track since it crosses it several times.
