Trail Overview
This is a nice canyon road for a quick getaway into the mountains. There are a few small water crossings in the late spring and heavy water in the early spring due to runoff. This is a great road for most 4x4 vehicles but a low-clearance car is not recommended up here. The road ends where a dedicated motorcycle/hiking trail ties in; you can run a dirt bike up to catch a section of the Stansbury Front trail when you don't have time for the whole trail. There is an off-shoot trail called Bear Fork that is a nice ride too, but you will need a high-clearance 4x4 or an SxS to take that side trail. The road runs through private property for the majority of the canyon, but it is open for travel as long as we take care of it. At the end of the road, there are a few places to camp with a tent and an old cement foundation to park on.
