Trail Overview
This section of the Markagunt Plateau series is more challenging. If traveling from West to East, it starts out with fairly loose small rocks. This section is open to all vehicles. However, the trail eventually passes through a fence, which then it's open to SXS and smaller vehicles. According to the Markagunt OHV System Map, beyond the fence, the trail ranks as a blue (advanced). There is a long, steep hill climb that has some big rocky sections and erosion ruts to navigate over. This section of trail bumps up the difficulty rating. Once on top of the hill, the trail is easy and simple. (If traveling East to West, you'll be descending the steep hill) . Part of trail #1 of the Markagunt OHV System.
