Trail Overview
Red Rim is a wide dirt trail in the Whitewash OHV Area that meanders at the base of the red sandstone mesas with a few moderate rock ledge obstacles. It has sections of embedded rock slab, hill climbs with loose rock, and tighter curves side-hilling around small hills. The ledges are about a foot tall. It climbs up to a ridgeline where you get views of the whole area. It continues on the dirt ridgeline back down into the valley floor, with a couple of rocky ledges. This trail also has lots of whoops. It ends on the west side at the Ruby Fenceline trail.
