Trail Overview

Tri Tip is about a 7-mile ATV loop in the Whitewash OHV area that is newly constructed and designated for vehicles 52 inches wide or less. It's overall very easy, being flat most of the time with only a couple of spots that are a bit harder on small rock ledges. It's a great trail for beginners and ATVers. From the east entrance to the loop, it drops down a couple of foot-tall rock ledges into a sandy wash. It's a wide sandy wash between rock walls, then turns into a wide flat dirt trail with embedded rock slab. The slab is very flat, with only a couple more spots where it's more raised, creating small one-foot-tall ledges. The trail is very easy to follow as there are constant trail markers and it's newly built. It goes through a pretty scenic area with red sandstone cliffs in the distance and cool rock formations.
