Trail Overview
Willow Springs Road is a 3.7-mile out-and-back (7.4-mile round trip) rated 2 of 10 in Juab County. This trail extends southeast from Riverbottom Road into the heart of the Keg Mountains. The trail travels through mostly open range leased by the BLM for grazing and ends at the base of the mountains with a nearly 1,000-foot elevation change from trail start to end. The trail is suitable for any 4WD vehicle and may be accessible to 2WD vehicles with adequate clearance. Consisting of hard-packed dirt and crushed rock, there is evidence that it has been graded at some time in the past several years. Willow Springs Road is one of several roads used by hikers to access the Keg Mountain which rises to nearly 7,300 feet. Once travelers leave the main north-south access route, running into other travelers is unlikely. The nearest services are located in Delta to the south and Eagle Mountain to the east.
