Trail Overview
Located in Vermont's Green Mountain National Forest this short trail bypasses a section of Scenic Route 100 north of Pittsfield. A fairly narrow and sometimes muddy section of a few miles is back-ended by a smooth well maintained gravel road. There are some slightly off-camber sections, but nothing too serious. You'll probably also encounter a bit of mud depending on recent weather patterns - the largest mud hole is located near the section of the road where it intersects MTB trails marked by small mountain bike signs attached to trees. In this section 4WD is definitely a big help. There are also a number of slightly rocky sections so higher clearance is a plus but most vehicles should be able to make it without too much drama.
